Call (503) 965-5001 for reservations early, especially for "vacation weekends" and the whole month of july and august.

It is located directly behind and north of the large hotel - the Cape Kiwanda Inn. Showers are available. We will share the expense (15 dollars per night) for the campground. A large group tent can be provided if requested. All you need to bring are clothes, sleeping bag and pad. The beach, restaurants, and training area is all within walking distance

For a very good hotel within a mile of the training dune try:

The Pacfic City Inn. It has great three bedroom suites (with extra cots available), free breakfast, and wonderful bistro. Its a great value for a group of four. Tell Jeff, the owner, "John, the hang gliding instructor sent us".
